custom and standard aluminum extrusions, machining, anodizing, and fabrication

Company Sub-Links:

The raw material is received in bundles of aluminum alloy logs, called billet, which will later be cut to a desired length. Prior to an extrusion, the billet is heated in a furnace, making it malleable enough to extrude. Heating aluminum is typically done through induction heaters or gas-fired furnaces, where the billet is heated generally in the range of 750 - 900 degrees Fahrenheit (400 - 480 degrees Centigrade).
